Faces come in different shapes and sizes. Getting the right fit can be tricky, but is very important. Read on to find out how you can order the right size mask for you.
How your mask fits is imperative to the filters’ ability to actually work. Respirators should be a snug fit, without any gaps for unfiltered air to leak through. Here is the best method to measure your face to assure getting the right mask size for you.
How to measure your face
First, using your fingers, locate the bottom of your cheekbones at a position around the tip of your nose. Note the spot where the cheekbone is at its widest toward your ears.

Next, using something you have handy that will make a non-permanent mark, place marks on you face at both cheekbone locations.

Now, using a ruler (not a flexible tape measure), put it up to your face while looking at yourself in a mirror and move the ruler to get the distance between the 2 marks you made on your face. This is the width you'll use to choose the mask size. If your measurement falls between the sizes shown below, pick the smaller of the 2 you're closest to.
